The ANA/AAAA Joint Policy Committee on Broadcast Talent Union Relations (JPC) Blog will provide readers with insights from the JPC’s lead negotiator, Douglas Wood. Doug is the General Counsel to the Association of National Advertisers and a partner with the law firm, Reed Smith LLP. In a time when transparency and information exchange are so important, this blog will attempt to keep all constituents in the commercial production business – advertisers, advertising agencies, production companies, talent payroll companies, casting directors, agents, unions and actors – aware of the JPC’s concerns, activities, and goals.
