The American Federation of Musicians (AFofM) Employers Pension Fund recently sent a mailing to those companies who are signatories to the various AFofM collective bargaining agreements. This mailing addresses issues regarding an AFofM Pension Rehabilitation Plan. Those companies who are JPC authorizer signatories to the new AFofM 2009 Commercials Agreement or those companies who become direct signatories to that agreement need not take any further action and may disregard the “call for action” in this mailing. Your employer obligations concerning this issue have been covered under the terms of the new 2009 Commercials Agreement.
